Great Lakes Basketball Officials Consortium

The GLBOC was created based upon our mission statement: “Strengthen the future of basketball officiating by providing training, mentorship, recruitment and retention support that is aligned with each member’s respective basketball officiating goals.”  

As founding members, we feel this is a critical time to create a group that focuses solely on basketball officiating and has the funding to provide year-round training resources and opportunities.  

While the GLBOC will serve a large geographic area, please know meetings and training will continue locally for our membership.  The association will be closely aligned with Scott and Steve as registered MHSAA assigners who will also be very active in the leadership of our group.

With a highly accomplished staff, we deliver elite-level training and mentorship. Our core objectives are simple: recruiting, training, mentorship, and retention. Please note that member dues are primarily allocated toward our training and recruiting initiatives.
