The MHSAA is pleased to invite you to participate in the Correct Call Basketball Officials Camp (CCBOC), scheduled for June 19-20 at Grand Valley State University. This invitation is being extended to a select group of MHSAA officials who have consistently demonstrated the ability to officiate at the highest levels of our Boys and Girls Basketball Tournaments.

To support your continued growth, the MHSAA will subsidize $100 of the $275 camp fee for your attendance at the CCBOC.

When registering, make sure you select “MHSAA High School Mechanics June 19-20” for the discounted rate. If you are attending the Men’s College camp June 13-14, or the Women’s College camp June 19-20, you will be paying the full rate.

The CCBOC is held in conjunction with the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) Girls Reaching Higher event. All games will be played by high school varsity teams—this is not an AAU or all-star event. Each game will feature an on-court clinician who will provide direct feedback and evaluation to help sharpen your officiating skills. Those evaluations will be forwarded directly to Will McKoy for the purpose of helping assign later-round tournament games.

In addition, Jeff Spedoske from the MHSAA Officials Department will be in attendance to observe and evaluate officials. This is a valuable opportunity to receive high-level instruction and visibility in a competitive setting.
